You Americans have no clue what happens in the world.
It is buddhism. The reason why he burnt himself to death was a protest against the Burma's Government. Us Aussies see this on National TV. I will say that Australia cares about the rest of the world. Most American's are oblivious to what happens else where in the world. just arrogant they are.

You too should learn history and be less "arrogant" before making idiotic comments. The man protesting, Thich Quang Duc, did this in VIETNAM in 1963, so I doubt you've seen this on Aussie TV any time recently.
